What Can You Include In Recycle Containers? More Than You Think!

Recycling has been around for a long time, however, many communities don’t require it as a part of their normal trash pickup. Each year, as we become more and more aware of how important it is to properly recycle plastic containers and cardboard, more people are coming onboard and picking up their own recycle containers, however there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. 

Think about what you recycle in your own home. What are the things that normally get tossed into your recycle bin? Empty milk jugs? Aluminum cans? These are the things basic items that many of us include. However, there are so many other things you can recycle, which can actually end up saving you a great deal of money on your monthly garbage bill.

• Old papers and junk mail?

• Cardboard food boxes (such as macaroni and cheese and instant potato boxes)?

These are all items that many of us throw in with our regular trash every day. However, instead of paying your trash company to haul away these recyclable items, you can simply clean them, and include them in your recycle containers. 

Many trash companies charge by the bag to remove your trash. However, some of them include free recycling. That means your trash bill will be much less every month, and you’ll be helping your environment at the same time.
