Depending on the state you are in, phased reopening may also require you to limit patrons’ capacity. Be sure to follow these guidelines to ensure you comply with state and local laws.

Here are more tips you can use to keep your business as germ-free as possible. 

1. Keep cleaning staff rotating common areas, sanitizing everyday use surfaces frequently throughout the day. 

2. Provide disposable masks for your patrons that did not bring their own. It will help reduce the risk of spreading the virus via coughing, sneezing, or talking. 

3. Remove lids from recycling bins and trash bins. Having open containers will decrease the need to touch the bin’s surface when disposing of containers. 

4. Once your business has closed for the day, be sure to sanitize all surfaces to include recycling and trash bins, tables and chairs, countertops, hand railings, and more. Open your doors the next day with a clean start and reduce the risk of running out of time to clean before opening.
